Can’t See Your Ad Account in Samson-AI? Here’s Why — and How to Fix It

You’ve linked your Meta Business Account to Samson-AI, but your Ad Account isn’t showing up. You’re ready to start running ads — so what’s the problem?

Don’t worry — this is a common issue, and the fix is straightforward. Most of the time, it comes down to permissions or incomplete setup inside Meta.

🧠 Why This Happens

Here are the main reasons your Ad Account might not appear in Samson-AI:

1. You don’t have Admin access to the Ad Account.

2. The Ad Account hasn’t been added to your Meta Business Manager.

3. The Ad Account doesn’t have a payment method, so Meta treats it as inactive.

Let’s fix each one.

🛠 Fix #1: Make Sure You’re an Admin on the Ad Account

Samson-AI requires Admin access to the Ad Account in order to manage your ads. View-only or employee-level access will block the connection.

How to Check:

1. Go to Meta Business Settings

2. In the left menu, click Ad Accounts

3. Click on your Ad Account, then go to People

4. Ensure your name is listed with Full Control (Admin)

🔒 If you’re not listed or don’t have Admin access:

• Ask someone with Admin rights to go to People

• Click Add Person, enter your name or email

• Grant Full Access

• Click Save

🛠 Fix #2: Make Sure the Ad Account is Added to the Business Manager

Even if the Ad Account exists, if it’s not connected to your Business Manager, Samson-AI won’t see it.

How to Check & Fix:

1. Go to Meta Business Settings

2. Click Ad Accounts in the left menu

3. If the Ad Account isn’t listed, click:

   • Add > Add an Ad Account

4. Follow the steps to claim or request access to the Ad Account

🛠 Fix #3: Add a Payment Method

Meta won’t allow advertising until a valid payment method is linked to your Ad Account. Samson-AI requires this too, or you won’t be able to publish ads.

How to Add Billing Info:

1. Go to Meta Ads Manager

2. Click the menu (≡) > Billing or Payment Settings

3. Add your preferred payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.)

⚠️ If there’s no billing info, Meta may hide or restrict the Ad Account.

✅ What Samson-AI Needs to Work

To manage your ads, Samson-AI requires:

• A connected Meta Business Account

• Admin access to:

  • One Facebook Page

  • One Meta Ad Account

• A valid payment method added to the Ad Account

Note: You don’t need to enter your Ad Account ID manually. Samson pulls this automatically during connection, as long as permissions and setup are correct.
